Selling Without Selling – The Perfect Selling Method

I’m sure I’ll eventually come out with a complete course and case study on this, but I wanted to give a brief overview and explain a little on my method of “selling without selling”. You see, no matter what business or industry you are in, whether it be consulting, marketing, accounting, retail, customer service, etc, you HAVE to sell something. It can be a tangible product, a digital product, a physical service *wink, wink* (what? massages are nice… if I ever get one!), or any other kind of service. Read more

How Does Website Usability Equal Better SEO?

Today’s article is a bit short but still of great value.

Search engine optimization isn’t about optimizing for the search engines, it’s about optimizing for the user – the ones that will be buying from you. You will often hear from us that a user-friendly website will do way better than a site that is hard to read and hard to navigate.

This is because search engines only care about what their users get when doing a search. If a user is unhappy with a result because of irrelevancy, then they’re not doing their job.

Here are a few examples of what you should be doing to be user-friendly:

  • Use a simple navigation menu that can be easily seen. We recommend the menu be placed at theĀ  top or right column.
  • Be natural. Write naturally and freely without concentrating on specific keywords.
  • Be relevant. Try to give each page a particular “theme” or “topic”. If your page is about “glass cleaners” try to talk about “glass cleaners” AND related items. Don’t stray off about “shoes” or “skiing”.
  • Be professional. This includes the layout of your site, the design and exactly what the page is about. You want people to be able to easily read what’s on your page. Don’t use colors that clash or too close in color that they blend in.

Want to know who I really am?

If you didn’t already know, I serve in the US Navy and work 54-70 hours a week. I have very little time on the side, so when I do have that time I spend it with my wife, who is going back to the U.S. May 5th, and my online business.

Someone asked me why my wife has to be away from me for 10 months. Well, it’s because I’m stuck out here in Japan and finish off my 3-year tour. After that, I can go home to my family. I run my online business on the side and have been quite successful, but it didn’t come without sacrifices. I sleep about 3-4 hours a night and still continue my duties as a good husband and U.S. representative.

Since my wife has been here, I have pulled out $7,000 just to have a place for her to stay in the last 3 months and then another $1,000 for a house we’re staying in until the 5th. The Navy then took away $1700 BECAUSE she is with me more than 3 months. All that doesn’t include about $10,000 in taking her to Guam, traveling to different cities for shopping, buying her laptop, gifts and so on.

As an airman, I make only $1500 a month plus $1100 for other benefits. So if you do that math, that’s $2,600 a month I’d receive from my regular job, I’d have only made $7,800 in the last 3 months. But I’ve pulled out $18,000 in the past 3 months.
How can anyone afford to do that?

I have been secretly making money on the Internet for years. I started my new site (the HSR) in efforts to reveal all my hard work (what took me over a year to complete because I only had a couple of hours a night). In total, since I started in 2001 (before I joined the Navy), I have made more than $200,000. $150,000 of that was before I joined.

I only started again about a year ago with some small minor things. The HSR upon opening it’s door has made me about $5,000. It’s not as much as I’m use to making, but you will certainly see this grow. And you’ll be here with me to witness it and PROFIT from it. If you haven’t already, take a look at the new sales letter: http://www.thehiddensecretsrevealed.com

There are lots of great things happening and going on behind the scenes. My partners have made me some very generous offers and I would love to bring it to you. One for example is from a good friend of mine, Martin Salter. He just launched his site and I would like to invite you to give it a look. http://www.themarketingmagazine.net/bm/?thankyou-page=216

You know all the hype and the craze that surrounds new site launches.. Well this one is different! He really over deliver on the free content, the reason for this is he is letting you and me benefit from the purchases he already made. He reviews the products and share his comments and even the products with his magazine subscribers. Check it out, it’s free.

But make sure you use this URL, because if you happen to like any of his products and decide to purchase it (I’ll receive confirmation from Martin) I’ll send you $10 via PayPal. Is that a fair offer or what? http://www.themarketingmagazine.net/bm/?thankyou-page=216
