A Jeff Donahue/Hoeffer or Matthew Donahue Grant Scam

That’s right, I couldn’t pick out a title because I wasn’t sure where to begin. I’m sure you’ve seen it here or there over the past several months. Even in Google or Yahoo! Despite it being known to the FTC and BBB some advertising sites still allow these ads to display. It’s also known as the free stimulus check scam.

Heck, here’s one from Yahoo’s IM from this morning:

The reason I couldn’t pick out a name is because of the different names used even though the same picture is utilized. Unfortunately, I’m more than willing to bet the pictures were illegally used and isn’t really the actual person. I’m sure this poor chap is wrongfully being pointed out in public and humiliated.

Animoto Is Spectacular – It’s Free!

I’m having so much fun with Animoto. I learned of Animoto.com by looking at this month’s Entrepreneur magazine. I didn’t even open the magazine up. I immediately went ahead and looked them up online.

To my surprise, they are totally cool. They let you select whatever images you have, upload them, select music from their list (or your own computer) and then send it for rendering. It goes in and a few minutes later is this really cool music video with your pictures. It’s so fast and easy.

I’ve gotta tell you, I’ve seen some crazy and loony people in my life, but Brad and Andy from Stompernet are just out of their freak’n mind! Never have I seen a person or group give away so many things for free. I mean FREE. Yeah, I paid like $10 for shipping and handling, but I’m getting about $500 worth of merchandise from them.
