Dallas SEO Marketing Meetup Last Night

Last night’s meetup went pretty well… besides me not doing good with the organizer’s Mac. I really don’t like Macs, lol. I don’t think I will ever buy one! EVER! I will take a PC any day. Anyway, I shared a lot of great information that will hopefully help people prepare for 2010.

Kevin Lam speaking at Dallas SEO Marketing MeetupThis year really is going to be an enormous year for Internet marketing. There’s going to be a lot of focus on getting businesses online and an increase in mobile (cellular) advertising. You truly do have to be prepared.

If you want an audio recording AND the powerpoint presentation from last night’s meeting, just go respond to my blog entry and you will be emailed with the download link. I talk about some very powerful tools to use that will save you hundreds of hours of manual labor a month.

What’s an hour worth to you? Let’s say it’s AT LEAST $7 an hour. If I could save you 500 hours a month, I’m practically putting $3,500 into your pocket.

Listen to the audio carefully, because there’s some information there not covered in the presentation. There’s a chance to save some money on my next product. You DON’T want to miss it.

Hint: You’ll practically be able to start your own SEO marketing firm or HAVE your own SEO marketing team do all the work with minimal costs each month.

But you have to respond to my blog entry.

  1. Hey Kevin!

Great idea to get people to ‘work’ a little for the info you want to give them — by having them respond to your blog that is.

However, I think it could be a little like ‘putting the horse before the cart’ — you should have made us request a copy — then you’d still know who was interested, but make it conditional that they respond to your Dallas SE Meeting after they have seen/heard it.

From all those responses (or lack of them) you be able to learn a lot about us fools out here watching you!

    Keep going and kind regards

    John Longmore

Yeah, I was going to do that, but to be honest, I’m just trying to get more members to look at my blog. It’s like everyone forgets that I have a blog at all, lol.

I will start blogging more often and shooting more videos starting next week. I really have been falling behind on it due to doing so much copywriting for clients. I’m tired of it and will now concentrate on things that will make me more money with less time and effort.

Goal this year is to reach that million dollars. Even if I don’t make it, I know I’ll have a lot of fun trying and I’ll certainly be happy with half that (^__^).

    Bring it on!
2010 is going to be huge and already started with a bang…
Not wanting to loose out on this movement!

    Regards
    Ramon

  4. Sounds great Kevin! Looking forward to learning all the time saving SEO strategies!

  5. Mitch says:

Okay, I guess there’s no relevent comment to be made yet until I hear the presentation, and that’s okay. I saw the post Jeff Levesque made and I was so floored by it but so busy at the time, I never got back to discuss it., so I guess I feel a little guilty for that. So we’re even. I want to know more about the .sql file you throw into your database. That was awesome. (You know, the 5-minute website?)

    Thanks,
    Mitch

  6. Olwyn Kinder says:

Some very great ideas Kevin. Should make a real difference to the way we market online during 2010. Can’t wait to get the powerpoint presentation and the audio to learn more SEO tactics. Thanks for the offer.

  7. Hey Kevin.

I am always interested in anything that you do. My mp3 player is wired to my car and that is when I listen to all of my audios. I’m an audio learner.

I need ot learn how to make audios while I drive…now that would be a time saver.

I look forward to hearing about the meet-up.

    stay well,
    albert grande

    Becky

  11. Hello Kevin,
You are the best seo dude around. I would like to have your presentation.
I think your right on about the whole year will be about starting to build business. There
are a ton of new people coming onto the internet this year and they need to be taught.
    Thanks for sharing.

  12. Philip Davis says:

    HI Kevin,
I was expecting to see PC – Mac flame wars here! You have to be gentle, they are very, very sensitive cult members… Obviously we must all be PC users.

I’d like to hear what you shared with the group, you always have good things to say and I’ve learned quite a bit from following you. So bring on the audio and slides, I could use a bit of help getting my momentum up.

    Thanks

  13. Jeffery Wood says:

I’m always interested in adding to what I already know, and tools that enable me to do more with less manual labor is always a great thing.

    – Jeffery

  14. Yo Kevin,

That was a good presentation, hopefully the recorder was not in the back of the room, so we WILL be able to hear you! Looking forward to the audio and the ppt slides and moving forward in 2010…

    Mark

  15. Brad West says:

Would love to see one of your presentations, what you are doing I think in invaluable to people there aren’t many that will actually take the time for others even though they say they will.

Saving time is one of the most important things and is overlooked greatly by huge numbers of people everyday. I actually dropped a video link under my name that also explains time value.

    Hats off to you Kevin
    Brad West

  16. Kevin Lam says:

An email with the download link has been sent to everyone that has responded. All else will be sent out later tonight. I am doing this manually. I didn’t think that many people would respond anyway. There’s also actually a VIDEO of the presentation, but I don’t think I’ll be handing that out. I will cut out a few segments and show that later or something.

I want to share this with a lot of people… but not everyone. So I’m glad not too many people are requesting for the information. I’m more than happy to keep it to myself, LOL. I’ll have to edit my blog entry and say that the cut-off is at 20 responses/requests or Friday night, January 15th. Yeah, I think that’s fair.

Mark, you were there. Glad you like it. It was good seeing you again. Yeah, the audio recorder was up there close to me so it’s not too bad. Take it easy and I’ll see you again soon.

    Regards,
    Kevin

  17. Kevin, you have a confused look on your face there, is it because of the MAC???

  18. Kevin Lam says:

Hahahaha, I don’t even know how you can make out what expression is on my face, but no. I was kind smiling, thank you very much!

However, that thing IS confusing. I was expecting a remote control where I could just click and change slides… nope! The screen that you see with the projector… well, you don’t see it on the laptop. I was like, “where the hell is it?” LOL. Hard to keep an eye on the audience when you have to make sure you’re clicking on the right button and stuff looking at a screen behind me.

Anyway, had a good time and would definitely like to do something like that again.

    Kevin

  19. Mayra says:

    Kevin,

Hopefully, 6am/16th won’t be too late (since I work weekends! ok?)!

I am always willing to learn from an expert like you. Heck, I’ve already learned a lot from you in the years(?) I’ve known you and this is my year to go for $500k (and I will be happy for half that, too!).

So if you are feeling particularly generous enough to extend the deadline a bit, I’ll be happy to learn some more!

    Cheers!
