Beware of Yahoo! Marketing Scam!

I just received TWO emails talking about my Yahoo Marketing Solutions account being expired and that I needed to log in to resolve it before it is terminated. People get these types of messages all the time, but if you look at it carefully, and simply place your mouse over the link it is providing, you’ll see that it’s a link that is leading to somewhere else. Don’t fall for these simple scams.

Here’s the email I go. The actual link has been removed.

Dear Client,

Your Yahoo Marketing Solutions account has expired. You must renew it immediately or your account will be closed. If you intend to use this service in the future, you must take action at once!

To continue click here, login to your Yahoo Marketing Solutions account and follow the steps.

Thank you for using Yahoo Marketing Solutions!
Yahoo Marketing Solutions Services DEP.
Please do not reply to this email. This mailbox is not monitored and you will not receive a respons.

I love how it ended with “you will not receive a respons.” Such a simple spelling mistake. These e-gits!

    Please tell me,

How long do I have to tolerate all the following bulshit supposed to be originated from Yahoo? Isn’t there anybody responsible to bring those people to Court, for trying to deceiving me into revealing my password which should then be used against my will and without my knowledge to all my contacts for illegal purposes?
